• K&T celebrate 10 years of K&T.
• K&T plot to trick friends and family to come to Upstate New
York to endure rain and cold.
• K begins semester number 3 at Cal. State Northridge.
• K continues working one day a week as a nutritionist for W.I.C.
and 15 hours a week as office manager for the on-campus
nutrition center.
• T enters 5 solid months of work insanity.
• K&T purchase digital camera to document
life for future generations.
• Friends throw K&T engagement party.
• K's mom, Marge, visits and is fooled into approving of her daughter's
fiancée.
• T's mom, Cathy,
visits to warn K before it's too late.
• K flies to Ithaca
to seed for rain clouds.
• K flies back east for brother Brian's
college graduation. Rumseys and Grimseys gather for practice evacuation
from June wedding.
• K&T visit recent East Coast émigrés in Oakland,
CA.
• K ends on-campus job. Adds more days of W.I.C.
• T ends another season of CL. K ends another semester. T gets unemployment.
K goes to work. T laughs.
• K runs 26.2 miles
in San Diego to get in shape for the wedding.
• T is tied up and thrown in white van bound for Vegas.
Nothing to show for the episode except a casino chip
and miniature golden calf.
• K is blindfolded and creates story
about a "comedy" club.
• K&T arrive in Ithaca amidst pouring rain. All seems well. 18
hours later sun emerges and rain never returns. Willing to admit defeat,
K&T throw together plans for a good
time.
• Hikes, wine tasting, happy hours, and last minute wedding planning.
• K&T get gussied up and sappy in front of a hundred close friends
and family members at the State Theatre in Ithaca, New York. Things get
crazy and some people leave the place married. Square dancing, BBQ, and
general revelry follow out at the homestead of K's dad, Hugh.
• K&T endure the trappings of margaritas, pristine beaches, and
the best Mexican seafood ever while honeymooning in La
Paz, Mexico.
• Starting off a month of solid weekend away trips, K&T head
for Big Sur for camping
among the redwoods and hiking in the rocky hilltops. Excited to finally
put in some time visiting the California Missions, K&T were sad to
see they had missed the monks by a mere century.
• Two trips for matrimonial
celebrations: one in Oregon and another in Davis, CA.
• K&T experiment with driving to visit family in Tucson,
AZ. The original plan for camping halfway there is abandoned when
encounter a dust/rain storm at the campground.
• K&T rendezvous with Marge
in San Diego, CA.
• K returns to school for her final semester.
• T returns to work on his final nerve.
• K continues at W.I.C.
• Marge visits on K's birthday.
• Los Angeles enters greater than normal anarchy as grocery store
and mass transit go on strike.
• Cyborg governator enslaves the villagers of Cahlifornia.
• K&T "celebrate"
5 years of being Angelinos.
• Casa de Knauff opens for business as friends
from England and Cathy visit simultaneously around Thanksgiving. Trips
include Hearst Castle and fast-food joints.
• K endures final finals and interviews for registered dietitian
internship through her employer, W.I.C.
• K stresses over wait and word from dietetic internship.
• K gets desired W.I.C. internship. Starts March 2004 and ends one
year later.
• T sits down to write letter for seasonal distribution. Posts list
instead.
• K&T get on plane for visit to Upstate New York and Cleveland,
OH.
